# Extract layers from a render

> Split a render into separate layers (sky, building, trees, people, cars) for editing elsewhere

Layered files are easier to adjust in Photoshop or InDesign. A layerize model separates a flat render into transparent layers you name.

## How it works

1. **Render** holds the image.
2. **Extract layers (Seedream Layerize)** splits it into the layers listed in the prompt: *the sky; the main building; the street trees; the people and cyclists; the cars; the road and footpaths with the neighbouring buildings as the base*.
