# Runchat for Revit

> Runchat for Revit 2026. Create high-quality images from 3D views and build custom families and tools using AI workflows directly in your Revit project.

# Getting Started

Runchat for Revit 2026 allows you to seamlessly work with generative models directly within your Revit project.

## 1. Install the Plugin

  <Step title="Run the Installer">
    Close Revit, then run the downloaded installer. Follow the on-screen prompts
    to complete the installation.

  <Step title="Approve the Plugin">
    Open Revit 2026. On first launch after installation, Revit will prompt you
    to approve the Runchat add-in. The plugin is currently unsigned and will
    show "Unknown Publisher". Click **Always Load** to allow the plugin to run.

## 2. Open Runchat

When you approve the plugin, the Runchat window will be docked into the right side of the viewport.
If you close the window or it doesn't appear on load, you can find it again from the Add-Ins ribbon.

    Go to the **Add-Ins** ribbon tab. Click the **Runchat** button to open the
    Runchat webview.

    Log in to your Runchat account in the webview panel.

    Browse your workflows, run them, and interact with results without leaving
    Revit.
